fee structures -

Picture

we have fee options because everyone's needs are a little different (and we love that!)

we design with your intention in mind and know there are usually a lot of questions. whether you or your client are preparing a home to sell, designing a new home, renovating, or just need a little change in your existing home, ESANDI can help.

ESANDI will typically use one for a combination of the following to charge for our services:

  • hourly rate -
we charge our clients for each hour spent on your project. hourly rates range from $125.00-$175.00, depending on geographic location and proposed scope of work. in many cases we can estimate the number of hours it will take to complete the project and give you an idea of what the total should be. if we are more than five hours over estimate, the hourly rate will be reduced by 25% for the remaining time needed for the original scope of work identified in our written agreement.

  • cost plus -
charges will be based on a percentage markup over the whole sell/trade cost of an item (e.g. furniture, drapery, finishes, etc.). this percentage markup is intended to cover ESANDI's efforts and service involved in procuring, managing logistics, troubleshooting, delivery, and installation of the goods and services. if we handle the ordering and purchasing of retail items, a charged percentage for the service will be incurred.

  • % of project fee -
ESANDI receives a percentage, usually 15 to 30% of the total cost of the project, including furnishings and services purchased or specified on behalf of the client. the budget is establish from the start, and payments are made based on the estimated total budget. the total expenditures are added up at the end of the project and the agreed-upon percentage is fulfilled.

  • per square foot -
ESANDI will determine our fee based on the square footage of your project. this type of fee structure is generally used in commercial spaces however, it is used in residential design as well when the project mainly involves interior construction or renovation with minimal to no furniture/fixture selections. a deposit based on the overall fee (50%) is required based on estimated number of hours and square feet.

prior to the beginning of the contract ESANDI requires a signed agreement between both parties which outlines the specific scope of your project and the payment terms. We believe transparency generates trust and avoid future conflicts.

payment information will be included in the written agreement however our preferred method will be directly linked to
